Hello!
In this video, we will go through how to leverage Optimove’s Stream Builder to experiment with different marketing strategies that will maximize your revenue.
The Stream Builder allows you to create interconnected flows of campaigns that are measured as a group.
For example, let’s say I want to begin sending a welcome series to new customers, but I’m not sure what type of channel, or combination of channels, will resonate the most with my customers. So, I want to do an a/b test with all different types of campaigns to determine my final strategy.
All you need to do is create a multi-treatment stream, so let me show you how.
First, select your target group.
You can then choose to use up to four treatments you want to experiment with. Each treatment represents a different flow of campaigns within the stream. In this case, I want to test one treatment with only OptiMail campaigns, one with only SMS campaigns, and one multi-channel treatment with both OptiMail and SMS campaigns.
You will also have the option to use a super control group which allows Optimove to measure the incremental uplift of each treatment.
You can then start building your stream with the relevant channel. You can either choose to wait a certain number of days between each campaign or use response or attribute splits. In this example, I will use a response split to target customers based on whether they opened the campaign.
Once I have set up my campaigns for each treatment, I will then complete the stream settings by naming the stream. In this case, we will call it Welcome Series, set a KPI-based object of net revenue, define the analysis range, and set the recurrence of the stream.
Once I have done this I can check the activation list to ensure all the elements of my campaign are defined and save the stream.
