Our one-click, RFC-8058 compliant unsubscribe solution for OptiMail customers who self-manage their unsubscribe process is underway. However, it's important to note that this solution is automated and cannot be implemented in a self-managed fashion within the template code by the customer. Rather, it is managed as part of your Optimove settings.
This will be provided in the form of entering a List-Unsubscribe-Post Url, supported by Gmail and Yahoo and requiring a back-end integration on your servers, in addition to a List-Unsubscribe mailto link supported by Apple, requiring a mailbox integration.
We will provide a final update with full directions, details, and technical security features in early May, with execution occurring in mid-May. Still, please be rest assured that our teams are working around the clock to make sure your messages will be delivered to Gmail and Yahoo customer inboxes without issue by the updated June 1st deadline.
