Introduction

OptiMail's new Text-to-Image AI feature revolutionizes how marketers and content creators incorporate visuals into their email templates. Powered by Stable Diffusion from Stability AI, this tool allows users to generate high-quality, customized images directly within the Template Builder. The feature saves time and inspires creativity by transforming simple text inputs into compelling visuals. Ideal for A/B testing, placeholder creation, and concept generation, Text-to-Image AI empowers users to focus on strategy while leaving the heavy lifting to the AI.

Getting Started

Navigation

Access this feature by navigating to Optimove > OptiGenie > AI Creation.

Step-by-Step Guide

    1. Adding an Image Content Block
      • Open the OptiMail Template Builder and insert an image content block at your desired location, as you would with any other block.
    2. Activate "Create with AI"
      • In the image content block properties on the right-hand side, select Create with AI. This opens the Text-to-Image interface.

    3. Configure Inputs
      • Within the interface, provide the following parameters to generate your image:
        • Prompt: Describe the image you want (e.g., "a serene mountain landscape at sunset").
        • Negative Prompt: Specify elements to exclude (e.g., "no clouds").
        • Aspect Ratio: Choose from 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9.
        • Style: Select a visual style from 17 options, such as "photography" (default) or "artistic sketch."

    4. Advanced Settings
      • For greater control, adjust the following:
        • CFG (Classifier-Free Guidance) Tolerance: Dictates how closely the AI adheres to the prompt. Higher values yield precise results, while lower values allow more creativity.
        • Steps: Defines the number of processing iterations. More steps enhance detail but take longer.
    5. Generate and Apply
      • Click Generate Image to create the visual. Once the image appears, you can:
        • Adjust inputs and regenerate.
        • Apply the image to the content block.

After application, the image behaves like any other within the Template Builder and can be replaced or edited as needed.

    1. Content Creation 
        • Generate visuals for products, events, or activities before final photography is available.
    2. A/B Testing 
        • Experiment with different imagery to optimize engagement and conversion rates.

Best Practices

Follow these tips to maximize the Text-to-Image AI feature:

      • Craft Descriptive Prompts: Use prompts with at least six words for optimal results.
      • Experiment with Styles: Try different styles to find the best match for your template.
      • Iterate Often: The more you use the feature, the better you'll understand its capabilities.

Example Prompts:

      • Landscapes and Scenes:
          • Generate a lush forest scene with sunlight filtering through the trees.
          • Create a snowy mountain peak under a blue sky. 
      • Objects and Products:
          • Design a futuristic smartwatch with a sleek metallic finish. 
          • Illustrate a steaming cup of coffee on wooden table.
      • People and Portraits:
          • Draw a lifelike portrait of a smiling child.
          • Create an abstract representation of a dancer in motion.

Feature Limitations

      • Generated images are not saved in the file manager.
      • Once an image is inserted, it cannot be regenerated. You must repeat the process to replace it with a new version.
