Customer and deployment identifiers such as

A video file on your computer or a link to a YouTube video

Setup Process
Step 1: Prepare the Email Template
In your Optimove instance, open Email by Optimove.
Build your email template as usual, adding text, graphics, and structure.
Leave placeholders for the coupon, video, and gallery components.
Add headers or separators to distinguish these elements visually.
Step 2: Add the Dynamic Widgets Coupon Component
In your template, drag the DynamicMail content block to where you want the coupon to appear.
Click Start DynamicMail.
Select Coupon from the list of components.

Under Coupon Settings:
Enter your deployment identifier and customer identifier (these ensure each recipient gets a unique code).
Upload or link your coupon list (codes only).
Enter a notification email for low-inventory alerts.

Customize the design:
Choose font color, family, and size.
Set a background color for the coupon code.
Upload a fallback coupon image (used if codes run out).
Click Preview to verify correct rendering.
When ready, click Generate Code, then Insert in Email Template.
⚠️ Tip: Ensure your coupon list has enough codes for your expected send volume.
Step 3: Add a Video Component
In your template, drag the DynamicMail block to where you want the video to appear.
Click Start DynamicMail.
Select the Video component.

Under Video Settings:
Choose your video source (YouTube link or .mp4 upload).

Configure optional settings:
Start from time (specific timestamp).
Fallback GIF length (up to 7 seconds for best performance).
Play button overlay on fallback GIF.
Use Preview to confirm correct video playback and fallback behavior.
Click Generate Code, then Insert in Email Template.
⚠️ Note: Some email clients do not support embedded video; a fallback thumbnail or GIF will appear instead.
Step 4: Add a Gallery Component
In your template, drag the DynamicMail block to where you want the gallery to appear.
Click Start DynamicMail.
Select Gallery from the components list.
Upload your image assets (featured products, categories, or brand visuals).
Upload your navigation arrow images (next/previous buttons).

In Gallery Settings:
The order of images in the UI determines their display order.
Add optional captions or links to each image to drive engagement.
Click Preview to review alignment and layout.
Click Generate Code, then Insert in Email Template.
Step 5: Finalize and Test
Review your full template to ensure visual balance and alignment.

Use Preview to test the following:
Coupon rendering
Video playback and fallback
Gallery functionality and spacing
Send a test email to confirm display across devices and email clients.
Save and name your final template (e.g.,
welcome_dynamic_template_v1).
Testing and Previewing
Before launching your campaign, test your Welcome Email using Optimail’s preview tools. Review personalization tags, coupon codes, and fallback behavior across different devices and inboxes. Send yourself a test version to confirm a seamless customer experience.
