Run an Always-On QA Agent With Scheduled Tasks
A scheduled Claude agent checks your Streams, templates, and campaigns every morning — no human in the loop.
Quality assurance is easy to skip when it depends on someone remembering to do it. With the Optimove MCP and a scheduled Claude task, QA runs itself. Every morning, the agent sweeps your Streams, templates, and campaigns — for example, everything scheduled or expiring in the next seven days — and reports only the items that need attention, with no human triggering the run.
The same connector supports heavy day-to-day operations: templates, campaigns, promotions, and Streams can all be created and managed through the MCP, so the agent that catches problems in the morning is the same tool the team uses to run campaigns for the rest of the day.
What you need to run this on the Claude branch.
| Ingredient | What to use |
|---|---|
| AI assistant | Claude (Cowork, with scheduled tasks) |
| Connector | Optimove MCP |
| Automation | A scheduled task running on a daily cadence |
| Optimove data | Streams, templates, campaigns, promotions |

Every morning at 07:00, using the Optimove MCP, run a QA sweep: • List every Stream, template, and campaign scheduled or expiring in the next 7 days • Flag anything with missing content, no audience, or an expiry with no replacement • Send me a short summary with only the items that need attention — if nothing needs attention, say so in one line
A scheduled-task QA sweep that returns an exceptions-only summary.
The flow, step by step:
Define the QA checklist. Decide what “good” looks like: no empty audiences, no missing content, no expiring item without a replacement. Put those checks in the prompt.
Create the scheduled task. In Claude Cowork, set the prompt to run on a daily schedule (for example, 07:00). The task runs unattended.
Let it sweep. Each morning the agent reads your Streams, templates, and campaigns for the next 7 days and applies the checks.
Get the exceptions only. The summary lists only what needs attention, so a clean day is a one-line all-clear.
Extend to daily ops. Use the same connector for daily campaign, template, and promotion work — the QA agent and the operations run on the same rails.
A social casino operator built an always-on QA agent: a scheduled Claude task on the MCP that checks Streams, templates, and campaigns expiring in the next 7 days every morning, with no human in the loop. It completed 7 QA tasks in a single day. This team is also among the heaviest operational users of the connector, running daily campaign operations — templates, campaigns, promotions, and Streams — through it.

What is a scheduled task?
In Claude Cowork, a scheduled task is a prompt that runs automatically on a cadence you set — daily, weekly, or at a specific time — without you starting it.
Can the agent fix issues on its own?
By default it reports exceptions for a human to act on. You can extend the prompt to take specific actions, but starting read-only is the safest way to build trust.
What if nothing needs attention?
The summary says so in one line, so you always know the sweep ran and the queue is clean.
