Please note:
To unlock this capability, you will need to have added Webpage Pop-Ups to your Optimove package. If you can’t see this feature in your Optimove instance, contact your CSM to find out more.
Displaying a personalized and timely webpage pop-up to a customer is a very effective way to influence customer behavior.
The following steps describe how to prepare webpage pop-up templates in Optimove using the Visual Editor, to trigger these in real-time on your site:
Overview of the Visual Editor
In the Visual Editor, you can quickly and easily generate new templates for your Webpage Pop-Ups, without relying on technical teams. The WYSIWYG, drag-and-drop editor makes it simple to build, preview and test your webpage pop-ups before they go live.
Before updating your content under the three main headings (Content, Rows, and Settings), first make sure your template has a unique, identifiable name.
Content
Under Content, here you can use the Visual components to build your Webpage Pop-Up templates using the drag-and-drop builder. You have many options for potential components, including:
- Title
- Paragraph
- List
- Image
- Button
In some of these components, like Title, Paragraph, and List, you can add Personalization Tags by simply clicking Personalization, as well as formatting the look and feel of the content.
Please note:
- Previewing your webpage pop-up will not display populated personalization tags.
- Conditional language is not supported by Webpage Pop-Ups
On the right-hand side, you can update the font, font weight, color, and more to suit your desired style.
Rows
When adding Content, you can use Rows to add multiple components in a single row. These settings are pre-formatted, but there are many options to choose from to ensure you have flexibility in your template building.
On the right-hand side, you can update the appearance of individual rows, including adding background colors, changing the alignment and adding rounded corners to your components.
You can create and save your own custom rows, to be reused in additional templates.
Settings
Finally, under Settings, you can simply update your default settings, for example your Default Font and Link Color.
Use Cases
There are a number of real-time use cases for Webpage Pop-Ups that will prove impactful for your brand. Read more about two key use cases in the following docs:
