This guide will walk you through the process of adding Optimove DNS records to your Content Delivery Network (CDN) in order to ensure proper integration with Optimove's features, such as email delivery and service connections.
Note: These steps provide a general guide for adding DNS records. Specific instructions may vary depending on your CDN provider.
What is DNS?
The Domain Name System (DNS) is a critical part of the internet’s infrastructure. Think of it as the internet's phonebook. DNS translates human-friendly domain names (like yourwebsite.com) into machine-readable IP addresses, allowing computers to identify each other and direct traffic accordingly. DNS records are the instructions that help route traffic, such as directing email or connecting to a content delivery network (CDN).
