The 'Button' element is a versatile call-to-action that you can add to any campaign screen. You can use it to link to a webpage, navigate between screens, or open the leaderboard. This guide covers all of its settings.
How to Add a Button
On any campaign screen, click the "+ Add" button between elements and select the 'Leadership Button' element from the list.
Configuring the Button
Once you add a button, its settings will appear in the left-hand panel. The options are organized into three main sections: Visuals, Click event, and Advanced options.
Visuals
This section controls the appearance of a standard, text-based button. You can customize:
- Label: The text displayed on the button (e.g., "Learn More").
- Font: The font family and size for the label text.
- Color: The color of the label text.
- Background: The main background color of the button.
- Border: The color and thickness of the button's border. You can toggle the border on or off.
- Radius: The roundness of the button's corners.
Click Event
This section is the most important setting, as it determines what happens when a user clicks the button. You must choose one of the following actions:
- Start/Next screen: The button will navigate the user to the next screen in your campaign's flow.
- Open Leaderboard: The button will open the leaderboard pop-up.
- Open a webpage: The button will link to an external URL. Enter the full web address in the provided field and choose whether the link should open in a new tab.
Advanced Options
These collapsible sections contain more advanced settings for layout and styling.
- Display button as an image: Expand this section if you want to use a custom image for your button instead of the standard styling options above. Simply toggle it on and upload your image.
- Element Background Settings: These settings control the background of the entire element *container*, which sits behind the button itself.
- Paddings and Margins: These settings control the spacing *around* the entire element container.
The 'Save as default' button allows you to save your 'Visuals' settings as the new default button style for your entire Brand, ensuring consistency across all future campaigns.
