Adding a video to your campaign screens is a highly effective way to engage your audience, showcase a product, or provide instructions. You can add a video by uploading your own file or by embedding one from YouTube or Vimeo.
How to Add and Configure a Video
- On any campaign Landing page, click the "+ Add" button between elements and select the 'Video' element from the list.
- In the video element's settings, choose your source.
Video Source Options
You have three choices for your video source:
- Upload File: Click to upload a video file directly from your computer (e.g., an MP4 file). This is best for short, custom video clips.
- YouTube: To embed a YouTube video, find the video on YouTube.com and copy the string of letters and numbers from the URL that comes after "v=". This is the Video ID. For example, in the URL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ, the ID isdQw4w9WgXcQ. Paste this ID into the 'Video ID' field. - Vimeo: To embed a Vimeo video, find the video on Vimeo.com. The Video ID is the string of numbers at the end of the URL. For example, in the URL
https://vimeo.com/123456789, the ID is123456789. Paste this ID into the 'Video ID' field.
Playback and Layout Settings
- Autoplay: Toggle this on to make the video start playing automatically as soon as the screen loads. Note that some browsers may block autoplay with sound.
- Alignment: Align the video player to the left, center, or right of the content area.
- Width & Height: Adjust the dimensions of the video player. The 'Height' setting only applies to embedded YouTube or Vimeo videos.
- Margins: Control the spacing above and below the video player.
