The 'Instant Win' prize type allows you to immediately reward a participant with a specific prize after they complete a game. This is perfect for creating instant gratification and encouraging participation.
This guide will walk you through the setup process, which involves creating an Instant Win prize and then configuring a 'Prize' screen to display a custom message to winners.
Setup Process
Step 1: Create an 'Instant Win' Prize
First, you need to create the prize that users can win. Navigate to the Prizes section of your campaign editor and click + Add new. In the prize settings, define its name and quantity, and most importantly, set the Prize Type to Instant Win.
Step 2: Configure Your Screen Flow
This feature requires a 'Prize' screen in your campaign's flow. In the editor, ensure your screen order is set to Start → Game → Prize → End. If a Prize screen is absent, add one after the Game screen.
Step 3: Design the 'Win' and 'No-Win' Screens
To design the 'No-Win' screen (Default):
Make sure the dropdown menu is set to "Default screen". The elements you add here will be shown to any participant who does not win an Instant Win prize. You could add text like, "Thanks for playing! Better luck next time."
To design the 'Win' screen:
Select your Instant Win prize from the dropdown menu. The element list will refresh, allowing you to add new elements specifically for the winner. Add text, images, or buttons to congratulate them and provide instructions on how to claim their prize.
Now, when a user finishes the game, the system will check if they have won the Instant Win prize and show them the corresponding version of the Result screen you designed.
