Welcome to our introduction to Real-Time Triggers (formerly Track & Trigger), an Optimove product that adds a layer of real-time data to your targeting and marketing campaigns.
With Track and Trigger, you can track customers’ web and app activity, trigger campaigns based on this activity, and use online behaviors in combination with any other customer data to create more personalized target groups.
For example, when a customer arrives at your site they get a welcome popup suggesting that they register for your newsletter.
This popup was triggered by Track and Trigger, based on a pre-defined page visit event.
Once the customer has filled out the form, their information is updated on your Optimove site.
Let’s say they added this t-shirt to their cart, looked at the cosmetics category, and decided to leave the site.
This uncompleted sequence of activities – the page view AND the cart abandonment that followed - can be used to trigger a cart abandonment campaign sent immediately to encourage purchase completion with a special coupon.
