Hi,
Being customer-centric is something we all strive for. For you as a CRM Professional, it means swapping a product- or campaign-focused approach to building marketing programs, with a customer-centric one. For us as product builders, it means constantly speaking with customers like you to build the things you need to excel at your job.
We do this by gathering feedback, frequently conducting interviews and usability tests, working with some customers as design partners, saving all your ideas, and compiling how many of you request each feature.
As we hit the mid-year mark, I thought it’d be a good time to give you, our trusted users, credit for the impact you have on the product we build. A product that 85% of you said makes their marketing better, in our April 2021 customer survey.
With that in mind, this month we highlight what you think about Optimove, what we built as a result of your feedback, and how we plan to expand our connections with you.
But first I want to remind you that you can provide feedback by replying to this, or any other, newsletter, speaking with your CSM, or directly talking to our product managers.
Speaking of feedback, have any on our magazine (even if you are reading this in our Academy)? Drop me a note.
Cheers,
Shai Frank, VP of Product
What we help you do & what we can do better
The survey results made it clear we help make your marketing faster, more personal, and more impactful:
- 67% said campaign ideation to execution cycles have been shortened by over 25%.
- 71% said the number of weekly campaigns you send has increased by at least 25%.
- 81% said that CRM-generated revenue has increased by over 11% with Optimove.
While we are delighted to see you realize the value of scaling your CRM Marketing personalization, we also have work to do.
40% of you couldn’t quantify Optimove’s impact on customer churn or lifetime value. We know your hard work in these areas is giving fruit, so we are now working to make sure you know it too.
You asked, and we delivered
In the past few weeks, some highly requested capabilities made it to your Optimove site.
You can now exclude customers from or include them in, campaigns of specific channels using the Exclude by Channel capability, giving you greater granularity and flexibility in setting up orchestration rules. For example, you can set up long-duration campaigns such as Facebook Ads or Direct Mail and still include those customers in email campaigns.
NewCalculated Attributes can be created based on existing data by yourself directly inside Optimove to be used in segmentation, personalization, and analysis. For example, you can create a new “Total Activity Days in the Last 7 Days” attribute based on the activity data you’re already sharing with Optimove every day.
If you are using Optimail, having customers who previously unsubscribed opt back in is easier than ever as it will now happen immediately. For example, if a previously unsubscribed customer visits your website and re-subscribes to your newsletter, they will automatically be removed from the suppression list and a triggered real-time email will be sent to them. Oh, and have you seen our new email click maps?
And these are only a small sample of many others.
Optimove Ambassadors is leaving Closed Beta
A few months ago we secretly started a new program with a select few of our users. We call it Optimove Ambassadors.
Members of the program get access to exclusive market research and use cases, early access to the product roadmap and new features, gifts, rewards, and chances to build their brand.
Ambassadors also receive invites to meetings with me and other company leaders to provide feedback and ideas to continue to enhance Optimove.
Now we are opening up the program to additional users. If you are interested reach out to Dani and she’ll give you all the details!
