Integrating Optimove with the Exchange Solutions Loyalty platform enables seamless implementation of Optimove’s features. This guide provides an overview of the supported integration capabilities and step-by-step instructions for implementation.
Features Supported by Exchange Solutions Integration
The integration between Optimove and Exchange Solutions supports the following capabilities:

Real-time Event Streaming: Available via server-side integration.

Transactional Optimail Integration: Optimove’s native ESP enables the delivery of transactional, one-to-one emails that provide information necessary to complete a transaction.

Real-time Event Streaming
Integration Steps

Grant the Exchange Solutions team Admin access to your Optimove site to configure the necessary production settings.

Provide the following details for real-time event streaming:
- Tennant ID
- Tennant Token
- Server-side endpoint
Optimove will provide these details after submitting the real-time form
Events Implemented in the First Phase
The following events will be incorporated as part of the initial implementation:
Server-side Events:

- consent: Updates the subscription status of each customer in real-time.
- member_enrollment: Registers new customers into the loyalty program.
Transactional API
Optimail Implementation
To configure the relevant transactional Optimail brands, provide Exchange Solutions with the following details:

API Key: Used to send personalized transaction confirmation emails to customers via API requests.

Personalization Tags: Specify the tag keys for transactional emails (e.g.,
LOYALTY_ID,STORE_NAME,FIRST_NAME). These tag keys should be shared with your Optimove Customer Success Manager (CSM) to add them to your Optimove portal.
Exchange Solutions can also access this information using their user account on your site.
Updating Customer Attributes via API
The Optimove API enables seamless integration with marketing campaign execution systems. Exchange Solutions can use the API to update attribute values for specific customer IDs via the UpdateCustomerAttributes API call.
API Access Requirements
- Exchange Solutions must generate an API key with Admin permissions on your site
Please Note: Not all customer attributes are editable by default. If specific attributes need to be modified, contact your Project Manager or Customer Success Manager (CSM) to enable them for this functionality.
Batch Data Integration
Data Delivery Method: Snowflake data share.

Integration Steps

Snowflake Data Share Connection: Exchange Solutions will create a "share" on the client side, add Optimove’s account, and provide Optimove with the necessary details.

Data Delivery & QA: Optimove will pull the data and begin the quality assurance (QA) phase.

Finalization: Once the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) finalization milestone is reached, the data will be ingested into Optimove for campaigns and segmentation.
