In Gamify (formerly Adact), your campaign is built from a sequence of 'Screens'. Each screen serves a distinct purpose in the user's journey, from welcoming them to displaying their final score. This guide defines each available screen type.
Screen Type Definitions
Here are the different screens you can use to build your campaign flow:
Start Screen
This is the first screen participants see—your campaign's main landing page. It's the perfect place for your key branding, an introduction to the campaign, and a call-to-action to begin. It is also the most common place to include the registration form to capture leads upfront.
Game Screen
This is where the core interactive experience happens. This screen contains the actual game that the user will play. The game itself (e.g., its visuals, mechanics) is configured separately in the 'Game' section of the editor.
Prize Screen
This screen is displayed immediately after gameplay and shows the participant their outcome. Its primary function is to display the user's score and, if applicable, announce any prizes they have won. It has special functionality to show different content to winners versus non-winners.
End Screen
This is the final "thank you" page that concludes the user's journey. Common uses for the End Screen include showing a final message, displaying a leaderboard, or providing a call-to-action button that redirects users to your website or allows them to play again.
Expired Screen
This is a unique screen that is only shown to users who visit the campaign URL after the campaign's scheduled end date has passed. It's used to inform visitors that the promotion has finished. You can configure this screen from the Extras → Expired Screen section.
Extra Screen (Custom Screen)
This is a flexible, optional screen that you can place anywhere in the campaign flow (e.g., between the Start and Game screens). It's perfect for providing additional information that doesn't fit elsewhere, such as a game tutorial, detailed prize information, or sponsor messages.
Arranging Your Screen Order
Once you know which screens you need, you can arrange them in any sequence to create the perfect user journey. This is done from the 'Content' section of the campaign editor.
