After choosing your campaign type, you will land in the Game Editor. This is where you will define the rules, content, and visuals for the core interactive part of your campaign. While the specific settings vary for each of the 50+ game types, they all follow the same general logic.
Each game has its own detailed guide. You can find it in our main Game Guides library.
The Game Editor Layout: A Quick Tour
The Game Editor is split into two main panels, giving you everything you need to build your experience in one view.
- Settings Panel (Left): This is your control center. It contains all the configurable options for your chosen game, organized into logical tabs.
- Live Preview (Right): This panel shows you a real-time, interactive preview of your game as you make changes to the settings on the left.
Core Concepts: Content, Rules, and Visuals
The settings in the left panel are typically grouped into tabs that control two key areas:
- Content & Rules: This is the "what" and "how" of your game. It includes adding questions, defining win conditions, setting the game's difficulty, or uploading the items for a matching game.
- Visuals: This is the "look and feel." It includes settings for colors, fonts, background images, and the appearance of game elements like buttons or characters.
Here’s how these concepts apply to the different game categories:
For Questionnaire Games (e.g., Trivia)
The editor is split into a 'Questions' tab (for Content/Rules) and a 'Visuals' tab (for Visuals).
For Competitive Skill Games (e.g., Tower Stacking)
The editor has a 'Visuals' tab (for the look of the game blocks) and a 'Rules' tab (for game speed, difficulty, etc.).
For Lottery Games (e.g., Wheel of Fortune)
The editor features a 'Sectors' tab (to define the prize/content of each slice), a 'Visuals' tab (to design the look of the wheel), and a 'Sounds' tab (to choose what sound is played during the game).
Next Step
Once you are happy with your game's design, it's time to build the rest of the landing page experience.
