Your Gamify (formerly Adact) account has two main administrative roles with different levels of permissions: the Account Owner and the Account Admin. Understanding the distinction is key to managing your team and account settings effectively.
Key Distinctions
The fundamental difference comes down to billing and ultimate control of the account.
- There can only be one Account Owner. This user has the highest level of authority and is the primary legal and billing contact for the account.
- You can have multiple Account Admins. They have high-level permissions to help manage campaigns and users, but with key restrictions.
Permission Comparison
This table provides a quick comparison of the key permissions for each role:
| Permission / Responsibility | Account Admin | Account Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Create and manage campaigns | ✅ Yes | ✅ Yes |
| Invite, edit, or remove team members | ✅ Yes | ✅ Yes |
| Manage billing and purchase subscriptions | ❌ No | ✅ Yes |
| Transfer account ownership to another user | ❌ No | ✅ Yes |

How to Manage Roles
