Your Gamify (formerly Adact) subscription plan is based on the number of Unique Visitors who engage with your campaigns each month. This guide explains how visitors are counted, how to estimate your needs, and what happens if you approach your limit.
What Counts as a Unique Visitor?
A unique visitor is counted as one individual person (or more accurately, one unique device) engaging with your campaign, regardless of how many times they visit within the month.
- Example: If one person visits your campaign 10 times, they are still counted as only one unique visitor for that month.
- Tracking Method: Uniqueness is determined at the device level. Each unique device is considered one unique visitor.
- Live Campaigns Only: Visitor limits are only tracked for campaigns that are Live. Campaigns in Draft mode do not count against your monthly limit, so you can build and test freely.
How to Estimate Your Needs
If you're unsure of your expected traffic, we recommend starting with a plan that meets your initial estimates. You can always upgrade your subscription as your audience grows.
Based on our experience with thousands of campaigns, here are some general benchmarks for a typical two-week campaign:
- Mid-Sized Brand: 10,000 - 20,000 unique visitors.
- Large or Well-Known Brand: 100,000+ unique visitors.
Your first campaign will provide the best baseline for future planning.
The Over-Limit Process
We understand that campaigns can be more successful than anticipated, and our goal is to ensure they run without interruption. We will never suddenly stop your campaign when it hits a limit. Here is the process we follow:
- Approaching Your Limit: As you approach your monthly limit, we will send you proactive notifications via email and within the platform.
- Reaching 100% of Your Limit: Your campaign will continue to run normally. Our team will attempt to contact you to discuss your usage and potential upgrade options.
- Exceeding 110% of Your Limit: Only after exceeding your subscription limit by 10% will your campaign be temporarily paused. This is a final safety measure, and we will be in close contact before this happens.
If you anticipate exceeding your limit and intend to upgrade, please let us know. If you require a few extra days to sort out procurement, we are happy to extend your license ahead of time to ensure your campaigns remain live without interruption.
