We are excited to announce that Gamify fully supports a dedicated US region. This update introduces a standalone US environment with independent infrastructure, designed to enhance performance, ensure data compliance, and improve scalability for our North American clients.
Here is everything you need to know about accessing the new region and how it affects your campaign management.
What’s New?
The US region is now live and operates completely independently from the EU region. Each region maintains its own databases, APIs, and storage to ensure optimal speed and reliability.
How to Access Your Region
Accessing the correct environment is seamless, whether you are logging in directly or through the Optimove platform.
Direct Login
You can log in directly using the URL specific to your region:
- US Users: adact-us.optimove.net
- EU Users: adact.optimove.net
Access via Optimove (App Switcher)
If you access Gamify through the main Optimove platform, the process remains unchanged. Simply click on Gamify (Adact) in the App Switcher.
- The system automatically detects your tenant's region.
- US Tenants are redirected to the US environment.
- EU Tenants remain in the EU environment.
Important Considerations for Campaign Managers
With the introduction of the multi-region environment, there are two key technical details to consider when naming your brands and campaigns.
1. Brand Names Must Be Globally Unique
Brand names are shared across a global domain structure (*.adact.me). Therefore, you cannot use the same brand name in both the US and EU regions.
-
Example: If a campaign is hosted at
my-brand.adact.mein the EU region, you cannot create another brand namedmy-brandin the US region. You would need to choose a unique variation, such asmy-brand-us.
2. Setup Time for New Brands
When you create a new brand or rename an existing one, it may take up to 5 minutes for the changes to propagate globally.
Information for Existing US Clients
If you are a US-based client who was already using Gamify prior to this update, your account likely currently resides in the EU environment.
- No immediate action is required. You can continue to access and manage your campaigns in the EU environment as usual.
- Any future migration to the US environment will be handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure your active campaigns, media files, and custom domains are preserved without disruption.
