Embedded messaging allows you to put the power of Optimove's personalization directly in front of your users. It allows you to embed highly personalized, engaging, and non-intrusive content experiences into your website or app, all powered by the Optimove Orchestration engine.
What are Containers?
Embedded Messaging Containers (also called feeds or cards) are placeholders in your app or website that display messages sent from the platform. They act as target zones where your content is rendered based on the campaigns and templates you build in the messaging platform.
Two Types of Embedded Message Containers
Embedded Messaging gives you two ways of creating and displaying messages through containers:
- Inbox: This gives you the ability to set up a notification center or web inbox in your website or native app. This feature effectively replaces the previous stand-alone Web Inbox, which is now a feature of Embedded Messaging.
- Custom Containers: This powerful option allows you to develop your own custom UI to display messages, such as promotional banners, carousels, and more.
For Existing Web Inbox Customers
However, to access the new Embedded Messaging features like Custom Containers, you will need to integrate with the new version 2 API, which allows messages to be grouped into containers.
