The Campaign Execution page allows you to set a site-wide default for using Conditional Execution in new campaigns. By enabling these settings, you can encourage a best-practice approach, ensuring that campaigns are only sent to customers who are still eligible at the exact moment of execution. This acts as a valuable safety net to prevent sending irrelevant or outdated offers.

1. Click the Settings icon in the main navigation menu.
2. Under the General Settings category, select Campaign Execution.

This page contains two simple toggles that control the default behavior for new scheduled and triggered campaigns created in the campaign builder.

What is Conditional Execution?

Before changing these settings, it's important to understand what "Conditional Execution" does. It is a feature that performs a final check on a customer's eligibility at the exact moment a campaign is sent. If the customer no longer meets the target group's criteria, they will be excluded from the campaign, even if they were eligible when it was originally scheduled.

Configuration Options

1. Require conditional execution for scheduled campaigns by default:
   • OFF (Default): When a user creates a new scheduled campaign, the "Conditional Execution" flag will be turned off. They can choose to turn it on manually.
   • ON: When a user creates a new scheduled campaign, the "Conditional Execution" flag will be turned on automatically. They can still manually disable it if needed for a specific campaign.
2. Require conditional execution for triggered campaigns by default:
   • OFF (Default): When a user creates a new triggered campaign, the "Conditional Execution" flag will be turned off.
   • ON: When a user creates a new triggered campaign, the "Conditional Execution" flag will be turned on automatically. They can still manually disable it if needed.

After making your changes, be sure to click the Save button in the bottom-right corner to apply the new default settings.
