This article provides a comprehensive overview of the Settings page, which allows you to manage high-level configurations for your Optimove site.
Admin Control and Security
The Settings page is a restricted area of the platform, accessible only to Admins. This ensures that critical system configurations remain secure and properly managed.
Admins are responsible for enforcing security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance. This includes managing user permissions and configuring channel and system settings to safeguard data integrity. For a complete guide on all available safeguards, please review our article on Securing Customer Data in Optimove.

Introduction
Hi there. Welcome to this walkthrough of the Optimove Settings page. This area is available to site admins and centralizes control over users, security, notifications, execution rules, channels, privacy, and integrations.
When you open Settings, you will see options organized into clear categories.
General Settings
- Access Management - Add or deactivate users, assign roles, set each role’s landing page, and control page-level access. You can also manage API Keys for secure integrations.
- Events - Create and manage events that trigger campaigns and track customer actions. Use Configuration Files to store platform tokens, including the Track and Trigger token.
- System Notifications - Choose who receives alerts for data updates, batch start and completion, campaign execution summaries, and errors.
- Campaign Execution - Enable conditional execution by default for scheduled and triggered campaigns to safeguard sends. Users can override per campaign if needed.
- Data Privacy - Use Remove Personal Data to delete historical customer personal data. Upload a CSV with customer IDs and confirm.
Channel Settings
- OptiMail - Configure a Preference Center per brand, manage unsubscribes via CSV, and set Unique Promotions for emails.
- OptiMobile - Configure push and in-app messaging, review error logs, check app installs by customer ID, set up geofences, and configure deferred deep linking.
- Opti-Text - Set up SMS, RCS, and WhatsApp. Define automated keyword replies and monitor delivery errors.
