Please note:
To unlock related capabilities, you will need to have added OptiMobile channels to your Optimove package. If you can’t see this feature in your Optimove instance, contact your CSM to find out more.
What is an SDK
SDK stands for Software Development Kit. It's a set of software tools and programs that your developers can use when building applications for specific platforms or services.
Web SDK
Installing the Web SDK will enable you to:
- Track web activity, including Visitors and Customers
- Implement Real-Time Triggers (formerly Track & Trigger)
- Implement Google Display Network execution channel
- Implement Web Push Notifications
How to Implement
If, based on the above, you or your development team need to install the Web SDK, you can find all of the necessary documentation in our Developer Hub here.
Mobile SDKs
Installing one of our Mobile SDKs will enable you to:
- Track mobile app analytics
- Implement Real-Time Triggers (formerly Track & Trigger)
- Implement OptiMobile channels, including Mobile Push Notifications, In-App Messaging, and Deferred Deep Linking
How to Implement
If based on the above, you or your development team need to install one of our Mobile SDKs, you can find all of the necessary documentation in our Developer Hub here.
Please note:
If you are migrating from another third-party vendor, you will need to swap out their SDK for our SDK. You will need to do this to obtain the device token for each customer. However, this will not cause the customer to be asked again to give permission for push notifications. If a customer has already given permission for push notifications, the Optimove SDK will automatically get the device token without asking the user again.
Platforms Available
When it comes to mobile apps, there are many different programming languages and platforms that can be used. Therefore, depending on how your mobile app was built, you will need to choose the SDK that matches your infrastructure. The following SDKs are available now.
