Archive Target Groups

You can now archive target groups that are no longer used in order to declutter the Manage Target Groups page and all campaign-related views (e.g., Target Group Priority, Marketing Plan, Run Campaign Wizard). To archive target groups, go to the Manage Target Groups page and drag the target groups or folders you wish to archive into the Archived folder.

You can archive any target group for which no campaigns are currently active or scheduled, and which are not included as part of any other target group’s selection criteria.
 
Archived groups are still visible and editable from the Archived folder, but they cannot be used to run new campaigns. In order to restore an archived group, you can drag it back to an active folder on the Manage Target Groups page.
 

Optimail Content Customization Using Conditional Clauses

Customize email text, images, and subject lines in Optimail templates, based on any customer attribute/activity, using if/then and if/then/else clauses.

Conditional language clauses are based on personalization tags. For example, you can use the tag [%FAVORITE_CATEGORY%] to build a conditional template that will display a different product category image for each recipient, according to that recipient’s favorite category attribute.
 
 
The following conditional clauses are supported:
1. IF/ELSE clause:[%IF:YOUR_TAG%]Content to display[%ELSE:%]Alternative content[%END:IF%]
2. Multiple IF/ELSE:[%IF:YOUR_TAG%]Content to display[%ELSEIF:YOUR_TAG%]Alternative content[%ELSE:%]Alternative content[%END:IF%]
 

Analysis for Multi-Action Realtime Campaigns

Realtime Campaign Explorer now includes analysis for A/B campaigns in the campaign list, including a breakdown of response metrics per action.

Realtime Campaigns via an Event Listener

You are now able to register an event listener to Optimove’s event reporting service (via the RegisterEventListener API call) and receive notifications on the execution of all real-time campaigns. Until now, Optimove only reported on real-time API campaigns via the Event Listener (in addition to reporting on scheduled campaigns); now, all types of real-time campaigns are reported, as they are fired.

If no execution channel is specified when calling RegisterEventListener with EventTypeID equal to 11, the specified listener will be notified about any real-time campaign fired, via any execution channel. In order to register an event listener to be notified about real-time campaigns only from one specific execution channel, call RegisterEventListener with the same EventTypeID value and ChannelID equal to the desired channel ID.
 
The payload sent when a real-time campaign is fired includes the customer ID, action, channel, promo code, template ID, and personalization values. Refer to the API Usage Guide for further details.
 

Run Realtime Campaigns with Promotions

Promotion selection is now available for all real-time execution channels (not just for the API channels). Selected promo codes will be included in the campaign’s payload when sent to a registered listener.
