When you use a deferred deep link in your marketing campaigns, it will take customers who have the app straight to the desired landing page within the app, and it will redirect all others to download the app.
For those customers who do not have the app, they will be taken to a landing page before the appropriate app store. This is particularly useful when customers click on the link while using a desktop.
You have many options for customizing this landing page.
Your Customization Options
When you create your Deferred Deep Link, you give it a Title, URL, Description, and Fallback URL. These are used to create the landing page. For example, the landing page for a deep link will look like this on mobile:
And like this on desktop:
When it comes to customizing your landing page you have the following options:
- Add your Brand Logo
- Add your brand Fonts
- Add a background color and gradient
- Add a container color (desktop only)
They will be applied to the landing page as follows:
