With OptiText WhatsApp, you can easily send scheduled or real-time WhatsApp messages to your customers, creating engaging, conversational experiences.
Step 1: Create Your WhatsApp Templates
Before launching a WhatsApp campaign, you’ll first need to create a WhatsApp Template. Templates are pre-approved message formats that WhatsApp allows you to reuse in campaigns and conversational journeys.

Step 2: Accessing the Campaign Builder
You can create a WhatsApp campaign through Optimove’s Campaign Builder. There are multiple ways to access it:

From the main navigation bar:
- Click Execute > Campaign Builder

From Customer Explorer or Manage Target Groups pages:
After saving your Target Group, click Run Campaign.
(Your selected Target Group will automatically populate in the Campaign Builder.)
Please Note: For WhatsApp campaigns, ensure your Target Group includes:
- WhatsApp Consent = Yes
- WhatsApp Valid = Yes
(This ensures accurate targeting of users who opted-in and have valid WhatsApp numbers.)

From Mission Control:
- Click the + Campaign button at the top right corner.

From Realtime Triggers (for real-time messaging):
- Navigate to Plan > Realtime Triggers, then click to create your campaign.
Step 3: Setting up Your WhatsApp Campaign
Once you're in the Campaign Builder, follow these straightforward steps:
- Choose your Target Group
- Select scheduling or real-time triggering options
- Choose "OptiText WhatsApp" as your communication channel
- Select your previously created WhatsApp Template
When done, click Create Campaign to finalize.

Measuring Your OptiText Campaign
After launching your campaign, track performance easily with built-in analytics in Optimove’s Mission Control. Metrics include:
- Send Rate
- Delivery Rate
- Bounce Rate, and more.
To view metrics:
- Go to Mission Control
- Find your OptiText WhatsApp campaign
- Click the three-dot menu (•••)
- Select Channel Metrics
