To start sending messages through WhatsApp using OptiText, you'll need to set up and connect your WhatsApp Business Account with Optimove. Here's a simple step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Prepare Your WhatsApp Business Account
Before integration, ensure:
- You have created your WhatsApp Business Account.
- A Send From Number (the phone number you'll use to send WhatsApp messages) is assigned to this account.
Step 2: Connecting WhatsApp in Optimove
Follow these steps to connect your WhatsApp account to Optimove:
- Log in to Optimove
From the main navigation:- Go to Settings → OptiText → WhatsApp Config.

Start the Integration Setup
- Click Login with Facebook in the pop-up window that appears.
If you are already logged into Facebook, you’ll see an option to continue with your account. If not, log in using the Facebook account that manages your WhatsApp Business Account.
Please Note: You must log in using a Facebook account with administrative rights to your WhatsApp Business Account.
- Allow Optimove to Access Your WhatsApp Account
- After logging into Facebook, you'll be prompted to grant Optimove the necessary permissions.
- Click Get Started to proceed.
- Verify the Connection in Optimove
- Once permissions are granted, the setup window will automatically close.
- In the Optimove interface, your Send From Number will appear with a status labeled FINISHED, confirming a successful integration.
