The partnership between Orbital Solutions and Optimove gives you the tools to enhance customer engagement and run more targeted campaigns. This integration connects your batch and real-time data streams, your promotion system, your web messaging channel, and your email consent status—so every part of your marketing operation draws on the same live picture of the customer.

This guide walks you through each supported integration and the concrete steps required to get it live.

Our integration capabilities, supported by Orbital Solutions, include:

Batch Data Integration

Seamlessly transfer customer and transactional data to fuel data-driven campaigns and segmentation.

Data Delivery Method:

Files via Optimove's SFTP server.

Integration Steps

  1. SFTP Setup: Optimove provides a dedicated SFTP environment for secure uploads. Contact your project manager to set this up.
  2. Data Delivery & QA: Orbital Solutions uploads historical data files to the provided SFTP location. Optimove retrieves the data and begins the quality assurance phase. 
  3. ETL Setup: Orbital Solutions automates the batch data process. Once finalized, data is ingested into Optimove for campaigns and segmentation

Streaming Data Integration

Optimove's real-time behavioral tracking solution enhances your marketing campaigns by responding to customer actions as they happen. The integration supports event streaming via server-side API and Web SDK.

Integration Steps

  1. Prerequisite Form: Complete the Real-Time Integration Form. Optimove supplies the credentials needed
  2. Production Implementation: Grant Orbital Solutions access to your site so they can configure the settings needed for the production implementation.
  3. Test & Deploy: Run test campaigns, then move to targeting live users

Promotion System Integration

Integrating your external promotion or bonus system with Optimove allows seamless execution of marketing campaigns — campaigns can automatically trigger promotional grants, scheduled or real-time.

Key Capabilities:

  • Scheduled Campaign Support: Automatically deliver promotions to your target segments at scheduled times
  • Real-Time Campaign Support: Push promotions instantly when customers meet defined triggers via Optimove's streaming data engine
  • Promotion Synchronization: Add, update, delete, and fetch valid promo codes via API, making them available in the Campaign Builder

Integration Steps

  1. API Key Setup: Request integration setup from your Orbital Solutions contact and provide an API key
  2. Consult your Optimove Customer Solutions Engineer for use-case support if needed
  3. Once Orbital Solutions confirms the integration is complete, begin testing

Web Channel Integration

Optimove's toolkit for personalized browser-based messages: push notifications, pop-ups, and inbox.

Key Capabilities:

  • Permission-friendly overlays that boost opt-in rates
  • Personalized messaging driven by on-site behavior
  • Rich media and brand-consistent templates across Web Inbox, Web Push, and Web Pop-Up.

Integration Steps

  1. Submit a Web Channel Request form to trigger onboarding on Optimove's side. 
  2. After onboarding, provide your Tenant Token and Tenant ID to your Orbital Solutions contact.
  3. Test campaigns, then deploy to production

Consent Data Management (Email)

Orbital Solutions updates the Email consent field using the following method: Batch data (for Email).

Batch Data:

Orbital Solutions includes the most current subscription status for every user via the batch data update. By doing that, Optimove's system updates the Email Unsubscribe attribute with the latest information once a day.

Attributes Included in the Batch File:

  • Email address
  • Timestamp—dd/mm/yy hh:mm (date and time)
  • Subscription status—Opt-in = true / false
