This integration connects your batch data feed, your promotion system, and your real-time event streams—so every part of your marketing operation draws on the same live picture of the customer.

This guide walks you through each supported integration and the concrete steps required to get it live.

Batch Data Integration

Seamlessly transfer customer and transactional data to fuel data-driven campaigns and segmentation. 

Data Delivery Method:

Files via Optimove's SFTP server.

Integration Steps

  1. SFTP Setup: Optimove provides a dedicated SFTP environment for secure uploads. Contact your project manager to create the environment and provide the details.
  2. Data Delivery & QA: Synot uploads historical data files to the SFTP location. Optimove pulls the data and begins the data QA phase. 
  3. ETL Setup: Synot automates the batch data process. Once the data and ETL finalization milestone are reached, the data is ingested into Optimove for campaigns and segmentation.

Promotion System Integration

Integrating your external promotion or bonus system with Optimove allows seamless execution of marketing campaigns. Through Optimove's API, campaigns can automatically trigger promotional grants—whether scheduled in advance or delivered in real-time—ensuring personalized, timely offers reach your customers efficiently.

Key Capabilities:

  • Scheduled Campaign Support: Automatically deliver promotions to entire target segments at predetermined times
  • Real-Time Campaign Support: Push promotions instantly when customers meet defined triggers via Optimove's Real-Time Triggers engine
  • Promotion Synchronization: Add, update, delete, and fetch valid promo codes through a dedicated API, making them available in Optimove's Campaign Builder

Integration Steps

  1. API Key Setup: Request the integration setup from your partner point of contact and provide them with an API key. See Using the Optimove API for API key creation guidelines.
  2. Consult your Optimove Customer Solutions Engineer for use-case support, if needed.
  3. Once the partner confirms the integration is complete, you can begin testing.

Streaming Data Integration

Real-Time Data Ingestion is Optimove's real-time behavioral tracking solution that powers smarter, faster marketing. It enables you to track web and app activity, trigger personalized messages based on user actions, and update customer data instantly.

Key Capabilities:

  • Real-Time Campaigns: Trigger campaigns based on events like logins or transactions.
  • Real-Time Attribute Updates: Instantly update attributes (for example, last deposit).
  • Web & App Tracking: Improve segmentation with real-time event data.

Integration Steps

  1. Prerequisite Form: Complete the Real-Time Integration Form to document configurations. Optimove provides the credentials post-submission: Tenant ID, Tenant Token, and server-side endpoint.
  2. Production Implementation: Grant Synot's team Admin access to configure production settings.
  3. Test & Deploy: Run test campaigns to test the new capabilities. Once sufficient testing is completed, you can start targeting live users according to your marketing needs.
