The Personality Test is a highly engaging format that allows you to ask a series of questions and then present the user with a specific 'result' or 'personality type' based on their answers. It's perfect for product recommenders, style guides, or fun "Which character are you?" quizzes.
Part 1: Setting Up Your Results (Outcomes)
Before creating questions, you must first define the possible results or 'personalities' a user can be assigned at the end of the quiz. In the 'Game' editor, navigate to the Questions tab and click "New result" to begin.
For each result, you can configure:
- Result Name: The title of the outcome (e.g., "The Adventurer" or "Product A").
- Image: An optional image to represent the result.
- Description: A rich text area to explain the result in detail to the user.
- Use Redirect: Optionally, you can add a call-to-action button that links to a specific URL (e.g., a link to the recommended product page).
Part 2: Adding Questions and Mapping Answers
Once your results are defined, navigate back to the Questions tab. The key step here is to map each answer choice to one or more of the results you created.
- Click "New question" to open the question editor.
- Write your question text and add your answer choices (you can use text or images for the choices).
- For each answer choice, click the relevant bubble to associate it with a result. When a user selects that answer, it will add 'points' toward that specific outcome.
- At the end of the quiz, the result with the most points will be the one that is shown to the user.
Part 3: Configuring Quiz Logic and Flow
These global settings control the overall experience of taking the quiz.
- Randomize Choices: Enable this to shuffle the order of the answer choices each time a question is presented.
- Show How Others Answered: Enable this to display the percentage of participants who chose each option after a user submits their answer.
- Delay till next question: This option allows you to configure a delay from 1 to 6 seconds until the next question appears.
