The Jeopardy game is a fun and familiar way to test your audience's knowledge. It presents questions in a grid of categories and point values, just like the classic TV show, making it an engaging format for educational content or trivia challenges.
The Jeopardy game shares many settings with our standard Trivia game. For detailed instructions on settings like feedback logic, randomization, or general visual styling, please refer to our comprehensive How to create a Trivia Game guide. This guide will only cover the settings unique to Jeopardy.
Configuring Your Jeopardy Board
The main setup for this game involves defining your topics and then creating the questions for the grid. These settings are found in the 'Game > Questions' screen editor.
Edit Your Topics
Start by naming your three topics. In the editor, click on each default topic title ("Topic 1", etc.) to enter your own custom names.
Add and Edit Questions
For each topic, you can add and edit the questions within it. Click on any question box in the grid to open the editor for that specific question.
- Write your question text and optionally add a supporting image.
- Add your answer choices below. You can use text or images for the choices.
- Mark one or more answers as correct by checking the box next to them.
Customize the Grid Visuals
In the 'Game Visuals' tab, you can customize the appearance of the main Jeopardy grid itself, including the background color of the grid, and the font and color of the category and question boxes.
