The Endless Runner is a classic and highly engaging game format where participants navigate a continuously moving character, avoiding obstacles and collecting items. Its dynamic, skill-based gameplay keeps users engaged for longer, creating a positive and memorable connection with your brand.
Configuring Game Visuals and Mechanics
You can customize every visual aspect of the game to match your brand. These settings are found in the 'Game' screen editor.
Player Image
This is the character that users will control. Upload your own branded image to replace the default character. For a dynamic animation, you can upload multiple images and set them to cycle at intervals (e.g., every 200 milliseconds).
You can also adjust the player's 'hitbox', which is the invisible box that detects collisions.
Collectibles
These are the items the player character collects for points. You can add multiple types of collectibles and assign different point values for each. You can also enable special effects:
- Spin collectibles: The items will rotate in place.
- Use score popup: The point value will appear briefly when an item is collected.
- Explode object when collected: The item will burst in a particle effect upon collection.
Obstacles
These are the barriers the player must avoid. Upload your own obstacle images and configure their behavior, such as whether the player can jump on them and if they appear in the air, on the ground, or both.
Ground Image
Upload an image to serve as the ground platform that the player runs on. You can adjust its vertical position from the bottom of the game area to match your design.
Game Background
Upload a custom background image for the gameplay area. For best results, we recommend an image with dimensions of 700x900 pixels.
Score Panel
Customize the appearance of the score and lives display. You can choose to use text or upload images for the numbers, select a background color or image, and adjust the font style, color, size, and opacity.
