Introducing OptiGenie!
This year AI took the world by storm, but it has been the core of Optimove from the very beginning.
Since building innovative Predictive Models back in 2012, we’re always finding new ways to integrate AI into your workflow so you can deliver top-tier, personalized experiences that delight your customers. And we’re not stopping anytime soon.
Now, we’re excited to introduce you to the new incarnation of Optimove’s AI… OptiGenie!

Target Group Discovery
Discover What Customers to Target Next
Kickstart segmentation using Target Group Discovery. Rather than spending hours experimenting with different campaigns and gathering insights, leverage AI to determine the optimal way to segment customers.
With Target Group Discovery, you can create impactful segments in segments in seconds helping you gain new insights on your customers, optimize your marketing spend, and deliver campaigns that have an immediate impact on your bottom line.
API Updates
Access To Your Single Customer View for All API Users
As part of our efforts to democratize your data, the 'GetCustomerAttributes' API endpoint is now available for users of all API permissions (admin, third party, transactional).
By providing a specific Customer ID, you will retrieve all attributes and their values for any given customer.
For more information, please read the Optimove Developer Hub.
Please note
Starting February 1st 2024, Optimove will only support API Keys for authentication to enhance data security and simplify workflows. To prevent API failures and ensure a smooth transition, read here to learn how to generate API Keys.
Mission Control
Create Multiple Duplicates in One Click
If you have a campaign draft that you'd like to set up for multiple Target Groups, there's no need to duplicate the campaign one by one!
Now, you can multi-duplicate your drafts for multiple Target Groups in just one click.

OptiMail
Seamless Cross-Platform Experience in OptiMail
Embed Smart Banners and DynamicMail components directly into your OptiMail templates, populated dynamically in real-time when the customer opens their email. Build your components in Opti-X or DynamicMail, then simply drag-and-drop the content blocks into your OptiMail template.
- For DynamicMail components, create components on the DynamicMail site, or in the pop-up modal in the Visual Editor, then simply click “Insert in Template”.
- For Opti-X Smart Banner components, first create a Placement to generate the content recommendation, then create the Smart Banner design – both in the Opti-X UI. Then, when building your OptiMail template, drag-and-drop the content block into the template and select your Banner from the dropdown.

Increase GA4 Tracking Accuracy with New UTM Parameter
For our customers using Google Analytics to track and measure the success of their OptiMail campaigns on-site, we’ve added a new UTM parameter for OptiMail templates - utm_id.
For those of you who've already updated to GA4, this new parameter is a required key if you want to carry out a GA4 data import. It also gives you the ability to identify a really specific campaign or promotion, for example, allocating a unique utm_id to each ad or each within a larger campaign. This empowers you to pinpoint the precise origin of traffic and assess the effectiveness of each marketing ad and campaign independently, and in more depth.
To learn more about adding UTM parameters to your OptiMail campaigns, read on here.
OptiMail and OptiMobile
Scale Global Marketing Efforts with TMS Integration
Localize your OptiMail and OptiMobile push templates directly from the template editor, with our new native TMS integration.
Simply pick the languages you want to translate their template into then hit sync, and the template will be translated into each of the chosen languages. From there, templates will be linked in a parent-child hierarchy, meaning changes to the master template will be reflected in the child templates, saving you time and effort in editing your multi-language campaigns.
To activate multi-language campaign support, please reach out to your CSM to find out more. You will need to have a Translation Management System (TMS) in place, for example, Crowdin, which will allow you to integrate translations directly with the OptiMail and OptiMobile editors.

Opti-X
Introducing Smart Content: Widget Library, Smart Banners & More
We’re making embedding Opti-X widgets a more seamless experience, with our new Widget Library, a dedicated place in the Opti-X UI where you can browse all of the available widgets that we are currently offering, and very quickly and easily configure, and embed them into your front-end.
For now, there are widgets available for Banners, Search, Voice to Search, and also for vendors like Shopify and Kambi.
Plus, as part of the introduction of the Widget Library, we have introduced a new way to create recommendation Smart Banners in the Opti-X platform. Now, you have the option to build Banners using either the HTML or the drag-and-drop Visual Editor, making it easier for marketing teams to create without relying on development teams. These banners can then be embedded in OptiMail templates, or used on advertising platforms.

OptiText
Increase Deliverability with Dedicated Sending Numbers per Region
If you're targeting multiple global regions, you can now set up a dedicated number per region to ensure local compliance and improve brand trust, as well as keep your deliverability stats high.
Setting up multi-region support is super simple, and is configured with your SMS vendor, with minimal configuration needed.
Supported by our OptiText Partners, head to the Sinch or Infobip integration documentation to learn more about how to configure dedicated numbers per geographic region.
